this is another idea i had for the logo. i wanted the effect of the mercury filling in the grooves to form the text... not completly done yet, just looking for some insite.

its nice, you may want to contrast the groove a little more to define the edges f the letters. |

like I said, its good, do what you want. Perhaps you shold make one without a background too for the band. |
