That is it, a simple, basic, black, straight line. I can not find this feature anywhere and I am getting VERY frustrated :( |

There is a line tool, it may be hidden under the rectangle tool (the one below the letter T in the full version of photoshop) just click hold the curser over the tool to see the options. Wayne |

Hi,
Select your paint brush or pencil tool, set to 1px or whatever and, while holding the shift key down, draw a straight line. _________________ ATB

You can also get the tool what ever you wish to use (being the paint brush tool I'm assuming), set the size of the brush you wish to use and other paramiters, left click on the mouse once to make a dot, then go to wherever you want the straight line to end up at then left click again. Simple. _________________ Qubert |

When you have the Line Tool selected, look in the top panel just next to the Custom Shape Tool (the blobbish random thing). See the arrow pointing downwards? Click it and it will bring you additional options for whatever shape tool you are using. With the Line Tool active, there are options for making arrows, so just make sure End and Start are unchecked if you only want a plain line. _________________ http://pannpann.deviantart.com |
