Well, I havea school project to do. I must insert christopher walkens head onto Uncle Sams body. I tried layering it, but when i did it just didnt match up right, the skin tones were off and it just looked bad, does anyone have any tips to help me out?

you have to try and match the hues, it just takes some time and patience. A good idea would be to desaturate them and then take one skin tone and start from there.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner..I got logged out some how and wasn't receiving notices of watched topics..

I found an image in Google images..of Mr. Walkins..

Made Uncle Sam smaller to fit the new head..
Took out Uncle Sam's head watching how the new head's neck is..

Put the new head on the top layer, I believe, and Uncle sam on the bottom layer..Erased what every parts of the new head that lapped over the collar..It fit amazingly well, by the way..lol..

Then merged..ta daa

It only took a few minutes to do..I do a lot of psp only do it with Photoshop CS..And manipulating images is what psping is about..I also do a lot of animations in Image Ready..It's all just a hobby..

I also tried to make Mr. Walkin's head look less like a photo and more like a cartoon..Don't remember how I did that though..
