I have an image sitting on a black background.
I also added some text, I like the look of the text highlighted, I mean the white box with the inverted text color & even the image looks aqua blue (know what I mean???). How can I achieve this effect without actually highligting the text...
Thanks for any suggestions. |

I'm unsure what you mean as well, have you tried adding a layer style to the text layer to make it look different? without seeing what you have it's hard to advise. Wayne |

what he means is thathe likes the way his image looks on the screen when he use the text tool to highlight some of his text.
What you gotta do, matius, is grab your rectangular marquee. (it's the on that creates a rectangular selection, from the very top left of the tools panel there), and make a selection of the area you want to apply this to.
Now look at your layer palette. There's bunch of butons at the bototm of it, click the one that says "cretae new fill or adjustment layer" when you hover over it. THen it pops upa menu, click "invert" and hey presto... _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |
