|
|
I am working my way through both Martin Evenings "PSCS for Photographers" and Barbara Obermeiers "PSCS for Dummies" (thats me I think) and I'm really struggling to understand curved paths.Does anyone know of a site that explains them in very basic terms i.e. kids stuff?.As I understand it when I drag from a straight segment to create a new path for a curve and release the mouse and I should get an anchor point and one direction line and one direction point, but all I seem to get is what appears to be a tiny plus sign at the end of the line. |

you want to have the text follow the path w/o warping the text right?
a circle path:
eliptical marquee tool (when drawing circle hold shift key so it's perfectly round)
select text tool
right click and select make work path, now your boxed text icon will be round
click on your starting point
start typing
when down go to your paths tab and delete the work path which will remove your circle and leave behind your text..
save
done
hope that helped..I know it's very basic instructions if you need more detail let me know..
I can set it up with step by step pictures if it make sit easier |
