I would add a new layer, then with the eliptical marquee draw an oval, then use the lassoo tool in the add to selection mode to add the tail to the oval, fill with white when you have it selected and add your text. Wayne

Sure there is. Photoshop 6.0 already has thought ballons in it. Just follow the diagram I have provided and you will be on your way. (hold your mouse button down to get the custom shape tool in the tool paltte.) you have to load the talkbubbles into memory first by appending them into the curretn shapes, then make a new layer then choose your shape. you want tto choose the first thing in the upper left hand corner that i have not got highlighted, not the second thing which is the paths tool that i have selected on my screen shot. When you choose the first thing, a color picker will display on the right hand side of the screen, you can choose any color that photoshop has to offer for the color of your ballon. Which is around 63100 different colors. You can also do what ever you wish to the layer that the thoguht/ talk ballon is on IE lower or riase the opacity or add layer styles to it.

Clear as mud??? Hope so. :-)
