Hi there

Im accually new to this forum business but if there is someone who can help me plz u are kindly welcome.

For about a week now i can't open (use) my CS2 because it always crashes when it is "Reading Prefferences" Now i think i have tried everything. i have completely un(re)installed several times but it stays the same problem. i have also tried to instal it on another hard disk but still no luck.

So im asking for HELP!!! anyone. Coz i can't do anything with out Photoshop.

hmm, have you tried contacting Adobe? it sounds like an isolated issue and people here may not be able to help unless they have had similar issues. The only thing I can think of is that something isnt being installed, is there a scratch on the CD?

Try the "cure all" (well if fixes some things anyway) hold down CTRL+ALT+SHIFT as soon as PS starts to load, this deletes the preferences file, PS then replaces it with a new one, reinstalling doesn't do this, it often works when all else has failed. Wayne
