I see images like this from time to time and I like the color and contrast, yet I’ve not been able to reproduce this effect. I don’t think the image has been manipulated, however I’d like to be able to reproduce this effect, does anyone know how I might go about reproducing this effect?

Not 100% sure of what you mean, but if you duplicate your layer (Command/Ctrl + J) and set the top layer's Blending Mode to "Overlay", you should end up with something like that.
Be very carefull with that technique though. It rarely looks good (I think it looks kinda bad in your pic too, actually. Just over exposed.).

Try other blend modes as well hard light and vivid light are quite good. Wayne |

Thanks guys, I'm in touch with the person and I'm going to see if its just her cam or perhaps she did what you guys suggested. I'll give it a try as well. |
