Ok... so here is my problem, i'm doing this tutorial, and some others:

And when go to apply the wind effect, and it's grey. The only ones that are not grey are "Find Edges", "Solarize" and "Emboss." I need some help. I don't know how to get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The usual cause of this is not being in RGB colour mode or not in 8bit mode next time it happens go to image/mode and have a look, if 16 bit is ticked, just tick the 8bit instead. Wayne
