Interpolation, when you change the resolution of an image, PS add's or subtracts pixels to comply with the new settings.
What are you trying to do? Wayne |

i just found out from my teacher. i was wondering if i interpolated up a file if it would print clearer and he told me it would. its my understanding that i can interpolate a file by going into image size and changing the resolution and detentions to lets say 11 by 14 at 300dpi. correct me if I'm wrong.
thank you, Gabriel |

A lot will depend on the original size and resolution of your image, Photoshop can enlarge images, but there is a point when the quality will suffer. what size and resolution is the original? there are a lot of things that can affect the quality. Wayne |
