its cool. You might want to do an outter glow or something on ur typeface. Not just the default one, but some sort of custom one. An easy way to do that would be to do this: Copy the text layer you have and move it underneath the original text layer. Put the fill opacity to 0, and then do whatever kind of default outter glow you want for that layer. Then create a layer mask for that layer and take away parts.

oh also, after u copy the layer, drop fill opacity, and greate outter glow, then rasterize the layer. Then use the layer mask. I have a quick little example to show you
