Have you changed anything on your PC? also if you double click the photoshop icon will it start up without image ready being open? Which version do you have. Wayne

i have version 7...
I used it on Friday to scan some images and saved them without any problems and i went out for the weekend and when i got back on Sunday and tried to start it up to do some work, it boots up and as it's loading up, when it's initializing the brushes it just shuts off and it won't open...it's really strange because this never happened before...

You could try resetting preferences as soon as PS starts to run hold down CTRL+ALT +SHIFT resetting prefs often seems to fix things with PS, it might also be worth trying taking out any custom brushes you have in PS if the prefs trick doesnt work (just cut and paste them to desktop or somewhere, so you can put thme back in later) Wayne
