I can't seem to get the new fonts that I installed to show up in PS. The font are in the correct folder "C:\windows\fonts". I've done this before and as far as I can remember I didn't have to do anything to get them to show up except for restarting PS.
I'm confused does anybody have any suggestion? |

As I understand it theres a limit to the number of fonts PS will display (I don't know what it is though) the trick is to use a font manager (so I'm told) I haven't tried this so I can't recomend any, I'm assuming you have the right kind of fonts, true type or whatever for your PC. Wayne |

In my experience, you don't need to install any fonts in windows font folder..
I save fonts in my documents..a few hundred maybe at this time..
When I want to use one, I open that font, minimize the font, then open PS..The font will then be available in the menu not only in PS, but any font menu you have, such as email, Paint, psp..
when done, click off the font that has been minimized..
This trick has been used by psp'rs for quite a while.. _________________ and the wisdom to know the difference... |

I've recently starting using a font manager..It is very handy to look over my fonts without having to double click each one! But it's not necessary.. _________________ and the wisdom to know the difference... |

I figured it out. I ended up getting a font manager and used that but it's just weird I never had to do this before. I don't know.
Thanks for the help. |
