Try running a virus scan, theres a few dodgy looking entries on your task manager, they might be ok but I'm not sure, also do you have your hard drive partioned? if you do don't set photoshop to one partion and use the other partion as drive 2 (for PS) this can cause a conflict (it tries to read/write 2 partions at the same time) Wayne |

I'm using Norton, but it's what I started with so I'm used to it now, it's a pain paying for it every year, but to be fair I haven't had many problems, although it does hog the resources a bit. I do use a few other goodies as well though. Wayne |

I'm having a similar problem. I'm on a PC at work and for some reason when trying to select layers in the layers window, I can't do it by holding down the shift or control keys. I tried looking in the preferences and didn't find anything there. I looked in my msconfig startup properties and deselected everything, restarted my PC and that didn't help either (so I don't think it's a keyboard shortcut program in the bg). Anyone got any ideas to help me out? |

You can only select muilti layers like that with CS2, you cant do it with the other versions. Wayne |
