I'm slightly confused here (ok it doesn't take a lot, I know!) are you talking film or digital here? for processing film prints you would need a proper "dark room" or at least a room thats pretty well blacked out, for handling the film itself you really need a fully blacked out room or a changing bag. For digital I find a room thats not overly bright makes viewing the screen easier. Wayne

I had a Photo-1 student come to class for the first session of darkroom enlarging with a 100-sheet box of Kodak PolyContrast, 8” X 10” photo paper. I asked her why the seal was broken on the box, as we hadn’t done any darkroom printing yet. She told me she opened the box right after she bought it, outside the store, to count making sure in fact all one hundred sheets were there!
