Hi, i am interested in removing the "Alt+[" and "Alt+]" Shortcut keys. I have looked through the shortcut menu as much as i could and i cannot find the shortcut in there anywhere.

This shotcut moves my layer selection up and down in the layer menu.

I currenty use "[" and "]" to change the size of my brush, and i use ALT to select a color from the pallete. so you can see that when i work really really fast i accidentaly change my layer seleciton with out knowing it.
I've painted on the wrong layer so much i cannot take it anymore and its a must that i fix this problem.

thank you

They are there, edit/shortcuts scroll to layers and click the little down arrow and scroll down. Wayne

um, i'm sorry but i did see those in the list and they are not the right ones.
Those MOVE the current layer up and down while
ALT+[ and ] moves the current SELECTION up and down.

I dont care about those CTRL ones because i dont hit CTRL to sample colors with the color picker. I use ALT to color pick, and [ and ] to change brush size.. thats why i need the ALT+[ or] to go away

I figured they would be in there with the ones you screenshotted but they arent and i cannot find them.

Sorry rv_el my mistake, I just looked for the right ones now but theres no signs of them there, I can only assume that you cant change those ones, they are listed in a book I have have as shotcuts for moving the layers as you say, but those options are not in the shortcuts I listed in Photoshop, sorry mate I'm stumped.
