As far as photoshop is concerned, that's ridiculously easy. The hard part is getting good photos. If you don't have consistently exposed photos, life wil be a little more annoying.
So let's pretend you have two photos. The camera is in identical position for both photos. One photo you're sitting on the couch, other you're standing beside it. using the move tool, drag one of the photos onto the other while holding shift. Now you're image has two layers, one for each photo. You can close the other one, you don't need it anymore.
The best way to proceed is to use a layer mask. With the upper layer selected in the layer palette, add a layer mask using the button at the bottom of the palette (third from left). You paint on the mask with black and white. White leaves th layer visible, black invisible, and shades of grey do something in between. There's a great thread in tutorials here on layer masking, so that'sa ll I'll say right here.
if you want quick and easy, grba the eraer, and erase the top layer above where your other self is. it really is infinately better to use layer masks thogh, so do take the time to learn about them eventually. if you can see an exposure diffference between the two photos, you can fix it in photoshop with brightness/contrast. _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |
