Strange thin border between negative & positive images ?

Please look at the attached psd file. When you make 2 layers visible at the same time, you'll see a thin line between negative and positive image. I need 2 layers fit perfectly.

That's the way I do it:
draw a rectangle
duplicate the layer
crtl click to layer image
invert the selection
paint the new selection with black

I also used PhotoOptic's CSI filters to ontain negative image, nothing changed.

Can anybody help me about howto obtain perfect negative image?
