whats the best way to keep the bg of a pop out sig from showing white when I post it on a site. I sdave it as a Gif but it still wont match. Thanks |

the part thats not supposed to be showing...make it the background color of whatever site ur posting it on..it wouldnt work here tho cuz it alternates but thats what u would do |

Take out the background of your image, and when you save the gif make sure you have transparency enabled. Choose a matte colour somewhere between the two colours of the site.

what Gallo said, except that some browsers dont support transparency, or at least last time I checked...internet explorer didnt... |

All browsers I know of support GIF (1-bit) transparency. The problem comes with PNG-24 transparency (8-bit transparency) which is supported by most browsers, EXCEPT (guess who?) the 800 lb gorilla: MSIE for Windows. |

oh I didnt notice, I tend to just use PNGs and I dont browse IE anyway so I dont try to make my images fit it... |
