I know some people are familair with this technique where you highlight an image and the picture turns out to be someone/thing else from what was before it was highlighted. Anyone know of this technique? I know it requires the filter/render/checkerboard plugin but I can't find it anywhere. It involves opacity and masking.

Thanks.

Try searching for rollover tutorials, they can be made in image ready, although I haven't tried. Wayne

I don't think that's what JienRen meant, Wayne. I think the effect is when you highlight an image, another image becomes apparent. It doesn't work with all browsers (Firefox, for example), but does with IE.

Here's a discussion and explanation from sister forum PsT.

Stroker nails it on page 2.

Check out this link http://www.atncentral.com/Pages/Katrins_example.htm

That shows a rollover demo, you hold the mouse over the image and it changes, is that what you ment?.

I cant make much sense of the link, it doesn't tell you enough to figure out how it's done, or am I not getting it all? my pop up blocker stops some things opening. Wayne

YES....I think Sync nailed it on the spot. I don't care for rollover that much where you just hover your mouse of it and then the image changes color or that sort. I want the image to be apparition like as Sync said and yes it only works in IE for highlighting. Now let's see if it works for me. Thanks for the link.

How you think it reflects on our society that I've never seen that done with any hidden image other than minimally clothed females :)
