I've heard a rumor that I can select an area of an image and make it into a link. I've tried to to select an area with the marquee tool and then I click on the little orange feather in the lower right of the tool box. I've tried to paste my desired URL into the web link field but I can never get it to work. Can this really be done? How does an image with a link get saved? Jpeg?
Thanks! |

ehh im not sure exactly... but i dont think the image will have a link. you probably want to make a slice in your image wherever you want the link to be. then using html make the slice a link. Im not too sure how to do it... but your gonna have to use slices and some kind of code i think. _________________ www.kg-studios.com |

You can in Dreaweaver. It's called a hot spot. I've never tried to do it in IR though. |

I have a shoppalstore that has a homepage editor that allows you to type and insert an image from file. (Its a template situation) and it says not to use javascript because all scripts will be stripped when it is saved. I would like to stick some linked icons onto a photoshop image since I can't use script for this application. I don't know how to use Dreamweaver anyway.
I have CS2 with Image Ready. |
