Hi all.

When you open up a image in photoshop cs2 and go to edit>colour profile you have a choice of srgb or rgb and so on. My question is which is the best one to use to get the best colours and what the hell is srgb?

Regards Josel

There is a review of the differences here
http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/sRGB-AdobeRGB1998.htm

Reading this might help, it seems that RGB has a vider range of colours, but SRGB seems better if you do your own printing or for internet use. Wayne

Nice link. I've read so many different opinions even among the pros regarding best color space. Adobe recommends editing in ARGB and convert to sRGB for web work.

But if your printer can't take advantage of the wider gamut of ARGB, what's the point of using ARGB at all? I would like to see how well the pro wide-format Epson printers use ARGB space compared to sRGB.
