it happens to me often that I have two images open - I'm sure it happens to everyone :)

There's always one image that ha "focus", it's the one I'm currently working on. But the other one's box is still visible behind it. If I click on the close button on the image which does NOT have focus, the one that DPES have focus closes.
Has photosho always done this?? Do I need a psychologist?? (I will if I lose my work due to it one more time)

thanks for any help

My Photoshop doesn't do that, I usualy make a duplicate image to work on as a first step, and reach behind it to close the original, which it does without problems. Are you working on very large images?, I'm wondering if a huge file size may affect PS's memory or something. have you tried reseting preferences? Wayne

I just reset my prefs and it seems to have fixed it, but only time will tell.
I;m not working on huge files, and even if I was I have a gig o' RAM, so I don't think that'll be the cause.
