Saving anything (any file extension .jpg, .tiff etc..) in Illustrator and then bringing that same image into photoshop. That image looks horrible!!! why? Is there some sort of Display Performance option in this program as well? Or a method to bring in Illustrator images into Photoshop? help.

Don't rasterize (TIFF, JPEG) the file in AI. Just Copy+Paste from AI to Photoshop. If you are running AI CS-1, go into Preferences>File Handling and check “AICB” before copy+pasting AI images to Photoshop.
