Hi. I want to make a background image for my webpage. I've tried, but I don't seem to be too good at it. Perhaps someone around here can offer me a little guidance or maybe even make one for me ;-).
My website color scheme is white, gold, and #BB0000 red. So I thought what I'd do is have some sort of textured type of background with the color #BB0000 and maybe some dark noise or something in it to give some texture. (Do you know what I'm talking about?)
Unfortunately, everything I make looks like abolute garbage. Which is why I came to where the experts are.
I was thinking of maybe a simple background for the left-side navigation bar--something to give a little texture. Maybe some sort of 1 pixel vertical lines. Usually, those are more than one color. I'm color blind. So what would look good with #BB0000?
I already made some other graphics that turned out alright. But this darn background has got me stumped!
And no, I don't have an example online.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated! I'm sure it would take an experienced person hardly any time at all to offer some advice or a few examples.
