Hi all,
Currently having some seriously frustrating dramas with photoshop 7. When I try to open a file in photoshop I often get asked if I want to convert to adobe rgb before it opens (something to do with the phase 1 capture device that I am using). No problem. But now for some reason the dialogue box that would normally appear is, I think, somewhere off the screen so I cant ok it, and so cant open files.
The same is true with saving work (when a dialogue box would normaly appear asking what quality jpeg I want to save as). Does anyone know how to trace down my missing boxes and move them back into an area in which I can see them!? I can press enter sometimes when opening files, thus `OK`ing the invisible dialogue box, but this is not the answer and only works some of the time.
I have tried system restore (Im on a XP PC), and reinstalling photoshop with no joy. Any help would be unbelievably well recieved- Im at my wits end!!!
Cheers all,
Paul |

Try trashings your preferences:
Hold down Shift+Alt+Ctrl as you launch Photoshop. You'll get a little diloge to re-set your settings. |
