Ok
i just found out that IE doesn't support png Confused Confused can you believe it???
anyway, i could save the image as a gif and check the transparancy box!
But....
it just doesn't look as good as in png format, the edges of the image are hard and jaggy!

i used the other settings the pallete options still the result was very poor quality!
how can i make the bad bad bad Mad jaggy edges go away in gif format?

I hate how IE doesn't support PNG variable transparency. It would be so great to have.

To (partially) fix the problem with GIFs, you can use the matting option. If you know what color or general colors the image will be on top of, pick a similar color under the matting option in Save For Web. This doesn't eliminate the jagged edge, but if you place in the image over the color you chose, the jagged edge will totally disappear.
