Well, not exactly sound effects.
Today I had the volume on my headphones up good n' loud, adn after I turned off my tunes, i could hear photoshop dound effects. I was doing a free transform on a raster layer and as I scaled or rotated i would get a sort of ratchet screwdriver sound. Faster if I move the mouse faster. So I clicked mute on volume in the system tray. i could still hear it. Since then I've noticed a soryt of whizzing noise that is produced while logging on using the welcome screen.
All these noises still occure even when muted, so it must have something to do with my crummy on-board sound. prabably people with separate sound cards won't notice it, but all the same it's interesting.

just realized this should probably be in general discussion. oops _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |

well, it's not exactly sound effects. it's some sort of artifacting which happens in the sound card, even when system volume is muted. _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |

Increased graphics tablet pressure: "Use the Force, Luke."
Using the Lens Flare filter: "I have a bad feeling about this..."
Working with an RGB document for print: "Your eyes can deceive you; don't trust them."
Trying to open a renamed file through the Open Recent menu: "That's what I'm trying to tell you, kid. It ain't there. It's been totally blown away."
Using a round, 0%-hardness brush for painting: "You're a good person, don't do this!"
Exiting out of Photoshop: "You're breaking my heart!"
Your laptop running low on batteries: "But I was just going to Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!" _________________ Interested in showcasing your special effects or learning some new ones from the masters? Check out PSFX! |

We use in house 3D software here and we decided it would be really fun to add Warner Bro style sound effects to certain actions. So when you deleted something it would do an explosion. And when you extruded something it would make a really funny cartoon Woop sound. Really funny for about 5 minutes but then just got on your nerves. |
