how do i make a basic animation. everytime i try to edit a frame it edits all the frames as the same! |

Simply editing a layer in the normal ways will affect all frames. However, you can make layers appear and disappear in different frames. So I recommend creating a new layer for every frame. Hide all the others for frames when they shouldn't show up.
