Here are two partial screenshots of some text used in a phpbb, forum such as this one. In "color.jpg", the green letters are all color coded hex #009900, however the smaller font size appears to be darker than the giant font. The giant font is Impact and the smaller font is Tahoma. I brought the image up in Photoshop and looked at the eyedropper sampling results for each font and there is a difference.
I experimented with some color variations and finally, in "color2,jpg", I used hex #07BE02 for the smaller fonts. To my eyes, they are acceptably identical, however I may have some color-vision problems. I would like to know if they actually do appear identical in color to most viewers and also, why did they not look identical in the original view, even though they were coded identically?

When I put the eye dropper on the larger fon't, they are pretty much the same, but on the smaller ones I do get a difference, the bottom one looks lighter as well. see pic Wayne
