|
|
Hello,
I have an artist friend who is looking at putting some of her paintings on a printed calendar. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what software and process would produce the best results for such a project. Can/should this be done in Photoshop or something else?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou. |

I wouldn't use Photoshop for that but publishing software like Adobe Indesign or the cheaper Microsoft Publisher (just to name 2 of many). _________________ www.lunacore.com |

Indesign and if you cannot afford that find yourself a copy of Pagemaker 6.5 or up. I don't reccomend any program Microsoft has. |

Microsoft makes a lot of excellent products; Visual Studio, Windows Server 2003, Flight Simulator 2004, Visual Fox Pro, Streets & Trips, Visio, Encarta Encycopedia, etc (I base this on the many reviews I've read) but nowadays it see to be sin to call a Microsoft product actually good. _________________ www.lunacore.com |

if you arnt experienced in graphic arts I wouldnt recomend any heavy layout software such as pagemaker or indesign. If you are a basic user and the calendar is for personal use then I would probably use microsoft publisher. If you are going to have this as a public released calendar then I would get all the images together and just have a proffessional printing office do the layout and the print and save yourself the time and money. |
