ok, so, i need to apply a shear filter, but certain filters are not avaliable such as:

all of artistic, smart blur in blurs, all of brush strokes, everything in distort except for lens correction, all of pixelate, clouds, difference clouds, and lighting effects in render, all of sketch, all of stylize except emboss find edges and solarize, all of texture, and all of digimarc.

yeah.... so, this seems to happen randomly, i undid to a spot where i applied a filter that i cant use now, but i cant use it at that old spot where i used it before....
any help would be greatly appriciated!!

Are you changing color modes and/or bit-depth? All filters should be available for RGB 8 bits/channel. Fewer for CMYK and/or 16 bits/channel files.

Resolution has nothing to do with your problem. It's my impression that you solved your problem by accident. Anyway, I'm happy to hear your problem is solved.
