Hello All,
I have this picture of an overexposed couple, and although I'm not super new to Photoshop...I have no idea where to start on this one. Obviuosly the look I'm going for, is less overexposed. If anyone could help....that would be great!
Thanks

if you sample anywhere and revieve a colour reading of FFFFFF or close to it than it's impossible to recover that area. But you can start with the burn tool set on shadows.

A quick fix that has helped a little (not much) is to duplicate the layer and set it to multiply, I then added another layer below with a flesh colour. It's far from perfect but it's a slight improvment. Sadly even photoshop can't put back whats not there in the first place, you could airbrush colour back in, but it would be very time and skill consuming. Wayne

It consumes skill? Heh, jk. Thanks for the layer tip though. I have some photos coming in soon taken on a camera that I know has screwed them up, so this may come in handy.
Good luck to you McWhorter as well.
