saving img with png24 ?

on photoshop i make a img and save for web then open it on flash but why is it the image has white pixels on the outside when i save with gif but not with png ,it looks like it should with png24 but i use a tansparent background whats the best thing to save as wehn saving with photshop for web

I don't know squat about flash but I do know that IE doesn't support PNG transparency files at the moment..and since 70/80 % of todays PC's run on IE...
