Bear with me i am new ( and have been reading the tuts) so, im not helpless hehe just stumped and looking for detailed explaination.
Ok my question is: In this image i have is a logo. Thats the picture i want, but not the words or background. How do i bring out the logo (in full)? How do u fill in the gaps where the lettering overlaps the symbol?

Cloning tool and healing tool... you need to go around cloning the area just outside the letters working your way in until the letters/shadows are gone.
You will basically be trying to duplicate what is behind the letters with the images you can see.

All I can say is to use a small medium hardness brush and take it slowly..
Good luck,

Lasa

I tried just to see how it would go...cloning at 100% to rebuild, then cloning at 35%-50% to blend..

Good luck,

Lasa
