I just installed photoshopCS I get a warning not enough memory [I have 512mgs of memory] It did give me a screen that said something about moveing scratch something out of photoshop folder I think . any help appreciated right now I cant open photoshop till I address this memory issue.

I'm sorry to hear that. Your scratch disks may need to be moved, but as far as I know, this can only be done from within Photoshop... Confused

No, i think the file is in C:\Program files\Adobe\Photoshop CS 8\

dont know exactly where, but im sure that youll be able to delete it, if you find it somwhere in there, alternatively, you could search your C:\ drive for "scratch" without the quotes

if u have windows,
try starting up in safe mode, start PS and change the scratch disc.

U may have to mess with your memory settings & alocate more mem to PS. !which can be dangerous if u dont know what u r doing!!!

Your best bet would be to reinstall PS and try to change the scratch disc during the install if it will alow u.
