I'm selecting a photo.... it's taking a lot of time. I'm going between standard mode and that red overlay trying to make the selection as good as possible.... all of a sudden, for no apparent reason, my brush starts painting white.... you can't erase it either... how come??? I just remembered that I guess I could have gone back through history palette, but why does it turn to white??

Thanks for any help.

I was trying to duplicate your problem..i think i was able to do it.
when i am in quick mask my foregound color is black and my background color is white..but if I switch to standard mode the two invert. so when I brush outside the selection it paints white.

I'm not sure that is what happening to you but...if it is undo clears it...

Good luck,
Lasa
