I'm about to buy a belt online and I don't want to screw it up. How do mens belt sizes work? I have a 32" waist so do I get a size 32 belt?
If I got a 32 belt, would 32 be in the middle hole? Or is 32 you absolute maximum size? _________________ Best Regards,

If you have a 32 inch waiste, then it means that you need to eat more twinkies.
If the twinkie option isn't do-able, then a 32 inch belt means that at the largest size (the last hole) the belt is 32 inches. General rule of thumb for belts is to buy it 2-4 inches lager than your actual pant size. Reason being is that different pant manufacturers run different sizes, levis might fit u as a 32, but wrangler might fit you as a 34, while eddie bauer might be a 30 fit. Buying a larger belt will allow you more flexibility for sizing, and will grow with you should you opt to try the twinkie diet. _________________ All gave some, some gave all.....Lest we forget that war produces veterans, wounded both mentally and physically, and it is our job to help them now, as they have already helped us all in ways we will never know, and in ways that we take for granted every day. |

if yuo're between the ages of 10 and 13, you'll want your belt abiut 4 feet longer than necesssary. That way, you can wrap it twice arund your left leg, once around your neck, and then ahave a big loop to hang down before tucking the end in your back pocket, attached to your wallet.
btw, there's nothing wrong witha 32" waist. I always have trouble finding jeans for my 30" or 29" preferences, with a 32" leg. Everyone's fatter than they are tall these days. _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |

that explains your name.
Do you have to lie down on your bed before breakfast, expel all air from your lungs, suck in your gut as hard as you can and use all your strength to pull on those pants, or do they fit fairly comfortably? _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |

Very helpful. Thank you. It's funny you mention twinkies because I love them and actually do eat them quite often... _________________ Best Regards,

LOL!!! Gotta love the twinkies!
When I was in the Army, I was (still am) 6 foot tall, and weighed between 168 and 173, had a 29 inch waste and less than 10% body fat, and could bench about 250 pounds. Now, well, ummmm....I could be a stunt double for the stay puffed marshmallow man from ghost busters!
Glad I could help. _________________ All gave some, some gave all.....Lest we forget that war produces veterans, wounded both mentally and physically, and it is our job to help them now, as they have already helped us all in ways we will never know, and in ways that we take for granted every day. |
