Ive started creating my own site to display some of my graphic works but theres something thats holding me back quite abit...

The rollovers in imageready are screwing up, i insert the images as .gif's by opening /copying /pasting in a new layer in the rollover window, i add a state to each slice that are Normal, Over and Click just for a basic one and then i activate them and put them in the order i want
then i preview them in IE and nothing happens ! Confused Confused Confused
Only the Click State appears and it happens every time and its really starting to annoy me now so can someone please help before i destroy my computer...
Thanks in advance

Dont use ImageReady to do rollovers.

If you want to do rollovers there are several options ranging from Javascript code(which I find un-needed) to CSS(which I reccomend).

Just do this for your rollover. Take the regular and hover images, and place them on top of eachother. You'll get something like this.

Code:
<div id="button_one"><a href="#">Button Name</a></div>

//CSS:

#button_one { width: 55px; height:120px; text-indent:-9999px; margin:0; padding:0; }
#button_one a { display:block; width:100%; height:100%; background: #FFF url(images/logo.gif) no-repeat top left; text-decoration: none; }
#button_one a:hover { background: transparent url(images/logo.gif) no-repeat 0 -55px; }

What it basically does, is when you rollover, the image moves up in the background. This way, you have a easy code, and one image for each button.

You can experiment with different rollover methods, I have useful links if you want.

Edit: Found a nice Javascript Rollover tutorial. Taught me something new :)
