Hi all, I'm relatively new to CS2, and use it a lot for resizing my review pictures for the web, but I only know how to process individual images.
I normally crop and resize each image individually, which I have no issues with, but when it comes to using the "Save for web" option to compress the images it is a very tiresome process doing this individually for all the images (normally anywhere between 10-30 images).
Is it possible to process a batch of images currently open in CS2, and use "Save for web" on all of them?
Or am I better off using a 3rd party batch resize/compression utility? _________________ CACHE-Community (Editor-in-Chief, Webmaster)
I don’t know if you can batch process open images. Have you tried to?
You can certainly record an action to Save for Web and run that on each open file.
Or you can edit, crop and save your pics, then run a batch process on their folder.
(See “Recording Actions”, “Creating a New Action” and "Using the Batch Command" in the Photoshop help file.)
