Maybe this is a stupid question, but are you sure your anchor points are connected to make a line?

Avie..that is very cool to bad your not trying for that look..can you take a screen shot of the tools when it does its thing. I'd like to duplicate it. I've never seen anything like that..but somebody here will know how to fix it.
