|

Hi,
I am using photoshop cs2 on the PC. My friend was taking a picture of her family but for some reason covered her hand over the flash in a dark room, WHY i here you ask, no idea.
So i have now an image on the bottom half all correct, top half very dark indeed, so dark you can only see the outline of ther persons in the image
So how can I adjust the image so that the bottom half ( the correct exposure) meets is the same as the top half (DARK EXPOSURE)? Also how can i do this without leaving any tell tail signs?
Thankyou josel |

Press the reply..
then go down to the Add an attachment
press the "browse" find your picture on your hard drive and click it.
it should show up beside the "browse.
then press "add attachment.
Just remember that the picture can only be 75kb in size (it think?)
so reduce prior to adding.
Then press submit.

If the picture is almost black, and you can only see the outlines, then you might be spent. Photoshop can lighten as much as you make it, but it can't put in detail that was never there to begin with. Basically, you can't take a picture of an outline of a shadowed figure and make it appear as if there was nothing wrong with the photo to start.
But post your photo please, and we'll see what we're up against! _________________ All gave some, some gave all.....Lest we forget that war produces veterans, wounded both mentally and physically, and it is our job to help them now, as they have already helped us all in ways we will never know, and in ways that we take for granted every day. |

I agree with the previous poster. The image will tell the tale, but in truth, Photoshop can only do so much. It cannot bring out detail that isn't there in the first place.
Best,
