We need a global prayer for the folks in the New Orleans area!
If we can pool all our positive thoughts and aim them at New Orleans for just a couple of hours...it's got tol help!

Good luck!

Lasa

For once TV news is not sensationalizing. This could do some major damage. Earlier forecasts showed Katrina coming our way in Tallahassee. Hard to be thankful it drifted west…
We have wind and rain from this monster this afternoon…400 miles away!
I hope preparation in New Orleans and surrounding areas keep loss of life to minimum.

we need not nly to hope for the best for those incoent citizens whose lives have been ruined, but also that the correct punishment is brought upon the many looters and criminals who are taking advantage of the lack of government. Even the rescuers are fearing for their lives because of these people.

not very many of houston's temporary visitors can go home yet, I wouldn't think. Can't say for sure (I'm canadaian, and don't watch the international news often), but only a small percent of those in huoston live outside the effected area and can go home.
