wel, first off when you add a second frame, the file size wil couble so you'll want a smaller sig. or, you'll want to sclice it and animate only part of it (if it's going on a website).
Anyway, here we go. Make a new layer that contains the lightning. In imageready, with the animation palette open, make a new frame. In the second frame, turn on the lightning layer.. Make a third frame. In the first and third, turn the lightning layer off. Motion tween the frames by one, maybe two frames. Then, set the duration of the lightnin on frame to however long you want.
All button necessary for that are either on the animation or layers palette.
That's pretty basic, but once you've done that, you'll know how to continue and make i t a bit fancier.
