WHY I can not cant open my photo by draging the photo icon

WHY I can not cant open my photo by draging the photo icon into my photoshop cs's program icon ? I have to file>open>desktrop> select pic.an d open
this is too time cosuming -plese any help will be very apreciated- THanks A

the reason you can not drag it to open is probly bcos of the format the pic is saved in. but if your lookin for a faster way to open a pic i suggest to simply press ctrl+O in stead of usin the mouse

What OS are you using? There is an easy to fix issue with Macs, if that is your computer. If so, see:

Follow the advice in the link I posted. It is a very common problem with OSX 10.3 and Photoshop.
