Sadly, I don't have an action to give you. I've found that lightsaber effect techniques must be changed for different pictures. So actions are kind of ineffective for lightsabers.

You can check out my tutorial on the subjecthere. This is the method I'd recommend, and it's actually pretty quick, despite the ridiculous length of my tutorial. LOL Of course, some people will insist on white shapes with Outer Glow effects... Dead

We've all got creative license with lightsaber colors, as long as it's not commercial...he could make a white lightsaber with purple and chartreuse streaks if he wants.

But I personally like to keep it just red, green, or blue. Mace Windu's purple is kind of cool, but the effect is hard to make well and I don't really care for the color.

Here's a go at that saber color. :P

Not really sure how to get the Chartreuse efx in there but oh well.

Oh Chartreuse is a shade of Green right? I just guessed on the color. Also iI tried using a lighting efx on the hilt. Trying to cast that light on the hilt...kinda how I wanted to make the light reflect in another post.

Gracias, JB

Ok yes, Chartreuse is a shade of green, almost like a neon yellowish green.

Did yu look at data's tut? He has a separate one for close, medium, and far distance. Your pic looks more like you've achieved an efect similar to the far distance, though maybe it should look closer. (which is really just a complicated way of saying maybe the glow could be a touch bigger). That's a cool handle and a good glow effect on it. Count dooku's hilt, maybe?

Well heres another try. I not sure if it looks any closer but oh well. Yes, That is the Dooku saber hilt. Thanks for the help. I really didnt realized the glow was so small until I put it on here. I had it zoomed in while i was working on it....DOH...Anyways, not to much I can do. I can just recreated again. This newer image i just tried to increase the glow more but I think it lost some of the color. Oh well. Practice makes perfect. I really likes these forums. I really apperciate the help and suggestions.

Gracias, JB

excellent, excellent. One more thing, if you're nit-picky like me (perfectionism is a curse). when you increased the size of the blade, it made the glow-effect on the hilt look relatively smaller. I might re-do that too, but I'd never have suggested it if I hadn't seen the first pic. Honestly not a big issue at all.
