hello everybody,
To make guidelines that lead to vanishing points, I make a 1 pixel line and rotate it until it is aligned, though at times this process becomes cumbersome.
Is there an easier way to create guide lines to vanishing points?
thank you
(I use Photoshop CS by the way) |

I would create a new layer and use the Brush or Pencil tool. Click once at the desired vanishing point, then hold Shift while clicking again at the other end of the guide you want. A perfectly straight line (with the foreground color) should appear.
Another tip: if you hold down Shift and then click and drag, the line will be constrained to vertical or horizontal lines.
Good luck! _________________ Interested in showcasing your special effects or learning some new ones from the masters? Check out PSFX! |
