I was bored last night so I went and took a pic of the carpet in the next room, well this is the outcome. I changed the colors of course and used some embossing

lol that makes a nice texture! i would work on some more detail and a nice star background and you would have a cool space seen!

That texture is outstanding! 500 points for original thinking. And the idea worked, too! Nice job.
[At this point, insert my standard no-Lens-Flare-filter spiel. Don't use 'em without altering the appearance, never overuse them, try different methods, yadda yadda yadda.  ]

lol and orange shag planet..
and hey, this texture turned out great! Maybe i should give that a try..actually looks better than some of the organic textures ive tried using like rocks/stone
