Hey, Just wondering if someone could help me out. Im having trouble making a marquee selection. The shape i am trying to achieve is a isometric tile shape so it looks like a diamond but the height of the selection is half the width so its a 1:2 aspect ratio. I have tried and tried but i cant seem to work out what figures to put in the transform selection boxes. The width of the selection needs to be 110 and the height 55. And it has to be exact so i cant manually drag points around on the selection.

Thanks in advance

I did it by drawing out a square selection, rotating 45 degrees. Then in the Select>Transform option bar, type in 110 width and 55 height with “px” after the numbers (default shows percent, but it can be any unit of measure.)
