i'm not sure where to post this, so if anyone could help, that would be great.
in photoshop 7, how do you make a new pattern.
i want to have a gradient of 12px by 50 px and i want to make that into a pattern so that i can have it for later use.
what do i do to make a new pattern.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks _________________ Michael Wooten |

If I understand you correctly its pretty simple.
make a new 12px x 50px page.
Then make your gradient...edit / define pattern..name it..done.
Now when you want it simply get the paint bucket, change fill to pattern, find the pattern you just made.
I just did it worked like a champ.
Good luck,

OR, once youve defined the pattern, go into the layer with the shape or whatever, that you want to apply the pattern to, and right click the layer and select blending options, then go to pattern overlay, and select your pattern and click apply, and then click OK if you get what you want _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk
